There’s nothing better than seeing patients happy with the results of their orthodontic treatment.
Alissa recently joined our office, where she assists Dr. Burke by performing various procedures to help patients achieve a straighter smile. Alissa spends most of her free time with her three-year-old son. Her hobbies include fishing, reading, shopping, crafts, and cooking!

Amanda, a Certified Dental Assistant, has worked in the field since 2014 and joined Burke Orthodontics in 2018. She assists Dr. Burke with different procedures and offers patient education and encouragement.

I've been in the dental field since 1999 and joined Burke Orthodontics in 2023. I assist with scheduling and financials. I also have many years of experience in insurance and assist with claims. Dr. Burke and Dr. Alniemi are very knowledgeable and passionate about their work, which is why I love working here. I have a 14 year old daughter and a 1 year old son, they keep me busy! I love spending time with them.

Beth has been in the orthodontic field for over 16 years. She fell in love with the process and never left. At Burke Orthodontics, she manages our staff and practice, as well as works with new patients and families as they’re starting their orthodontic journey. Outside the office, Beth has a wonderful blended family which keeps her busy. She believes in living a balanced life, so she makes time to work out and pursue retail therapy, too.

Casey loves working in the orthodontic field. She loves helping patients achieve their new smiles.
I have been working in the orthodontic field since 2011. I perform adjustments, bandings and provide patient care. Outside of the office I love to travel and spend time with family and friends.

I have been in the dental field since 2004 and recently started with Burke Orthodontics in 2023. Dr. Burke and Dr. Alniemi are awesome doctors to work for, they are kind and great teachers, they treat us like family. I am married and have 2 daughters. I live in the Oak Lawn area and in my free time, love to craft with the Cricut and DIY projects.

Dawn started working in the dental field in 1994. She spends her days in the clinic, assisting Dr. Burke as he crafts amazing smiles and making sure patients are comfortable during procedures. When she’s not at work, Dawn enjoys time with her husband, three children, and their dogs!
Kim
Appointment Coordinator
My goal is to make each patient laugh and smile and provide an overall great experience at our office.
Kim is one of our friendly front desk faces who will welcome you, check you into your appointment, and help schedule your future visits. A real people person, Kim loves hanging out with her family and friends. She and her husband of 27 years have three adult children and a dog. They love the outdoors, taking walks, going to the beach, and going for bike rides.
Lauren
Orthodontic Assistant
I like building relationships with our patients and watching their smiles transform!
Lauren started in the field in 2017 and joined our practice in 2018. She works in the clinic where she assists Dr. Burke, performs required adjustments, and provides helpful oral health education and encouragement to patients. When she’s not working, Lauren is usually enjoying time with her daughter Mia, as well as family and friends. She loves the outdoors and looks forward to visiting Florida as often as she can.

What I like most about working in orthodontics is helping patients get newfound confidence and interacting with so many wonderful people.
Lexi joined the orthodontic field in 2021. She enjoys our office's constant positivity and our genuine passion to help people love their smile. In her free time, Lexi likes to draw, paint, and spend time with her dog.

Madi has worked at Burke Orthodontics for almost a year and has enjoyed every moment of it! Outside of work, Madi likes to color, sing, and watch movies and TV shows to relax.

Marketing/Contract Coordinator
I enjoy making families happy by working out the best payment solutions!
Maggie started in the field in 2007 and joined Burke Orthodontics in 2008. She meets with new patients and families reviewing the financial aspects of treatment, and sets up payment terms that fit with each family’s budget. Beyond the office, Maggie enjoys time with her husband, college-aged children, and their family dog. Her favorite hobby is working out and staying healthy.
Nelly
Sterilization Technician
I enjoy laughing with the patients to make them feel comfortable and less nervous.
Nelly started with Burke Orthodontics in 2023. She loves working with the doctors because they are so easy to talk to. They are very informative, outgoing and amazing to work with. She loves the music in the office! When she is not at the office, she likes to listen to R&B and play with her puppy. Skating, dancing and having fun with friends is also something she enjoys.
Pamela
Financial Coordinator
I enjoy helping patients understand and manage their accounts, as that makes treatment less stressful for them and their families.
Pamela started with Burke Orthodontics in 2003 as an orthodontic assistant and then transitioned to the front office. She oversees all aspects of patient accounts, ensuring everything is up-to-date. Pamela and her husband John have been married for over 35 years. They have two children, Carrie and John, as well as four granddaughters and a grandson. Pamela loves time with her family and cheering on the White Sox.
Sarah
Records and New Patient Coordinator
I like meeting all of our new patients and families and getting to know people as they achieve their best smiles!
Sarah joined Burke Orthodontics in 2008. She works chairside assisting Dr. Burke, guiding patients through their orthodontic journey. Beyond the office, Sarah loves time with her husband, Joseph, and their son Lucas. We are a social family and always have something going on, whether that’s a sporting event or traveling to New Buffalo and hanging out with friends.

Appointment Coordinator
I love getting to know our patients and watching them progress to a perfect, healthy smile and improve their quality of life.
A true people person, Susan has been in the orthodontic field for more than 35 years. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, taking long walks, fishing with her husband, and reading.
Susie
Insurance Coordinator
This group is my family away from home. They are awesome!
Susie has been with the team since 2003, handling all the insurance paperwork and claims for patients and the office. She brings over 30 years of experience to the practice, making sure that insurance runs smoothly. She has three wonderful boys and one grandchild. She is very active in church, P.E.O. and golf. She also loves to play piano, walk her dog, sew and paint.
